I’ve been sewing, see?
I made a couple of cute wee WIP bags, out of some scrumptious Amy Butler fabric I bought a couple of weeks ago off a friend who was destashing. Actually, they aren’ that small – they are around 6.5 inches in diameter and 12 inches tall. Each one is fully lined (in bright pink cotton fabric) and has a wee ribbon drawstring closure. For those who are non- knitters, they would also suit any kind of crafty project or collection – my daughter keeps her trains in one 🙂
So, why did I made two? One for you and one for me!
Yes, that’s right, I want one of my readers to have one too.
Why?
Firstly, Blogtober! It’s a month to blog heaps, have heaps of guests through, to hopefully welcome in new readers, and to celebrate the blogging community. A giveaway is a great way to include the readers more too (of course, you’re all welcome to leave comments any time!).
And secondly, some time tonight or in the early hours of tomorrow, my wee blog will be clicking over to 30,000 hits. Cool, eh! So, I thought the time was right to do a giveaway now rather than waiting until later in the month.
So, what is up for grabs?
I will be giving away not only the Amy Butler bag, but also I will be filling it with goodies. Since some of my readers are not knitters (!) they will not be knitting related either – there will be a surprise selection of delicious treats to enjoy. I am happy to post this internationally too 🙂
You’ve got just over a week to enter this competition – I will be drawing a winner with the help of the nice random number selecting folks at random.org at 10pm NZ time next Friday night.
So, how do you enter? Just post a comment below!
If you feel like sharing the love and getting another entry, either add me to your blogroll on your blog, or blog about this giveaway and let me know. If I’m already on your blogroll, pop that in your comment and that will get you a second entry too.
Let the fun begin!
Oh please count me in. They look absolutely gorgeous. What an awesome WIP bag.
I have no blog (I’m just not that interesting) but I’ve love one chance into the draw.
🙂
I love Amy Butler fabric! Those bags look very cool. I decided a while ago I needed some WIP bags for my knitting, after a three-project snarl up that saw me untangling for nearly an hour. The first attempt I had at making one turned out a laughably huge WIP bag – big enough for all three projects, which kind of defeats the purpose! Anyway, yours look great, if I don’t win one I am inspired to try making one of my own again.
Oh, and you’re on my blogroll…must go double check that!
How lovely a bag you made. I think I have some of that fabric to make a weekend bag which has been waiting for quite a while now. Congrats on all the hits too. I do read your blog because your one of my ravelry friends but I can add you to my bloglist too.
You’ve been on my blogroll for a while now! I love your blog. And I’m the first commenter. Thus, I think I should win!
I love the fact that you live in New Zealand. I used to cover the dairy industry for the morning paper in Madison, Wis., and experts often compared our dairy farming to the industry in New Zealand. So, I feel like New Zealand is a sister state to Wisconson!
Your so sweet love the project bag:) You are already on my blog roll:) and congratulations on rolling over to 30,000 hits.I would be delighted to be entered as it is my birthday month turning 42 the 25th.Hugs Darcy
